Shot Sunday July 30, 2017- Tony winner Bette Midler confirms she will make her final performance in Hello, Dolly! at the Shubert Theatre on January 14, 2018.

We were lucky enough to see Bette Midler this past weekend (July 30th 2017) while visiting New York city. We arrived early and the line was already wrapped around the Shubert and down the street with ticket holders anxious to see Midler.

I have always been a huge Bette Midler fan. I tried to get tickets when the show opened last spring, but it was sold out. We were able to get great seats when I returned to the Big Apple this summer. We were so thankful that we saw her especially because she announced the next day that she was going to give her final performance in this role in Jan, 2018.

I was so thrilled to see her on stage. Many in the audience were moved to tears during her performance. She was perfect for this role. The show was perfect in every way. It was a real lifetime highlight for me and I am so thankful I had the opportunity to see her.

Thank you Bette for all of the fun that you have given me over the years. You are the best!
