Music Is A Prayer - Bob Sunda

So nice to hear from Bob Sunda this week. Bob is a huge talent that happened to land in Memphis after Katrina. Bob has a gift in music that he shares generously with Memphis, his students and the world. But he also has great spiritual insight. Not only does he believe that music is a prayer, but that musicians and artists are catalysts into the spiritual world.  In the song he sings in this video the words say, “ the things of this earth will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace.” Bob and his wife are going through yet another personal struggle, but he remains so bright. His light cannot be contained. If you are they praying type, keep them both in your prayers.

Musician Bob Sunda sings "Turn your Eyes Upon Jesus" during a lesson with a student at Rhodes. Sunda has spent four decades touring, performing, and recording all over the world with a variety of renowned entertainers. A Hurricane Katrina refugee, Sunda now calls Hernando, Mississippi home.
