There are so many ways, these days, to enjoy the city and to watch a nice sunset in downtown Memphis. Today is the grand opening of Beale Street Landing, which will be celebrated with great Memphis music and food. In the years I have lived in Memphis, many walking paths and biking paths have been developed along the riverfront and around downtown too. The Farmers Market, on S. Main, is a treat on Saturday mornings in the summer. We have an abundance of fantastic chefs and so many great places to eat. Memphis is blessed with a new generation of people with a passion for our city: dreamers, doers and most of all, people who are super creative and a lot of fun! Thanks to all of you Memphians who work hard every day making Memphis a nicer place to live, you know who you are.
